Helping you achieve your sustainability goals

Nothing but sustainable, safe cleaning methods

No nasty chemicals

90% of UK dry cleaners use the chemical solvent Perchloroethylene (Perc) to clean your clothes. Perc is nasty stuff – it has been shown to cause cancer and builds up in animal food chains. It’s already being phased out in France, Germany and the US.

We don’t use Perc. Instead, we use safe, non-polluting dry cleaning alternatives, such as the Miele WetCare system and Sensene dry cleaning solvent. These methods clean your clothes beautifully, without the damaging environmental effects of Perc.

Saving energy and water

Ozone technology enables us to achieve great cleaning quality at low temperatures using less detergent. Lower temperatures = less energy usage (by up to 70%), and because less detergent is required, less water can be used in the rinse (by up to 33%).

Additionally, ozone significantly reduces the volume of microfibres shed by garments during the wash process, which would typically be flushed down the drain and end up in the ocean. This also extends the lifespan of your clothes.

Reduced packaging

By changing the way we pack your clothes we’ve reduced plastic usage by 40% per order since 2018, and we’re exploring ways to bring this down even further in the future.

In addition, our amazing reversible blue laundry bags / garment carriers can be reused across dozens of orders, saving large amounts of packaging.

Only the best will do

In addition to our ozone system, we also use a range of other state-of-the-art equipment to clean and press your clothes. This results in excellent quality, but also helps to reduce water and energy usage.

For example, our German-made steam generator is the best on the market, and is up to 97% energy efficient.
